Download Android 3.0.2 HWI69 for US Retail (or other stock images from here)

Put on Fastboot mode: adb reboot-bootloader
Unlock bootloader if not yet: fastboot oem unlock

Then flash Xoom

fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache

System will automatic update OTA.

ATT U-VERSE DSL modem经常死机的问题及解决办法

近一周来，家里的ATT U-VERSE经常当机死掉，必须重启，但不久又死掉。打电话去ATT寻求支持，技术人员一通胡侃，问题丝毫没解决。后来俺发现ATT设置的DNS SERVER有问题，所以造成上网访问某些网页速度很慢，或者说找不到该网页,最后MODEM死机。换了DNS SERVER设置后问题解决。 俺家的位置选： 208.67.220.220和 68.94.156.1 效果很好。其他读者可以下载GOOGLE 的 benchmark 软件决定最佳DNS SERVER的 IP 地址。

How to fix messed up Home and Back keys on Droid X2

Actually the fix is super easy. Just use a file explorer,I use root explorer and go into /system/usr/keylayout/tegra-kbc.kl

Open it with text editor and just switch the two numbers next to home and back. Super easy fix

How to bypass activation on Droid X2

I don't know if anyone is aware of this but the previous method of touching the four corners to bypass activation does not work on the X2. However I figured out how to do it so I thought I would share.

Power on phone holding volume down, when you see fast boot keep taping volume down till you see "Boot Android {No BP}" and press volume up.

It will boot you into Google Setup....just click the green guy then select the "skip" option for the rest of the setup. When you get to the location service consent section with the 3 options just don't select any and you will boot to the regular homescreen with no service.

From there you can root your device or whatever without Google restoration getting in the way.

Just thought I would share.

Quicken 2010 Bypass Registration

If you want Quicken 2010 to stop prompting you to register your software, you can do the following:

1. Press and hold the Ctrl + Shift keys on the left side of your keyboard, and select Tools, then One Step Update.
2. When the message “You will no longer be prompted for registration” appears, click OK.

This also works on Quicken 2011, and Quicken 2012.

How to Merge (Import) two Blogger Blogs

If you want to merge two or more Blogger blogs, it's actually quite easy to do so.

First, I recommend making a back up of your current blogs by going to Settings > Export Blog.

Next, go to the blog that you want to merge the other blog(s) into and do an import by going to Settings > Import Blog.  The wizard that appears next is very simple and will allow you to simply import the other blog's posts into the existing blog's current structure.  Dates, times, and comments from the blog being imported will be preserved.  There is a limit of a couple hundred posts allowed per day, so all imported posts may not immediately display.  Also, you may need to go through post dates after importing since the process doesn't check for posts overlapping on the same date; they'll all display, but you may end up with days containing more than a single post.

How do I change the name of a label?

Let's say you have a number of posts with the label Label-1 but you've decided that you'd rather call it Label-2 instead. You can't edit the name of a label directly, but there's a simple workaround to accomplish your goal:

1. Go to the Posting | Edit Posts tab for your blog.
2. Click Label-1 in the label list.
3. Click Select All to select every post with this label.
4. From the Label Actions... menu, choose Apply label > New Label...
5. Enter Label-2 as your new label. (If you already have some posts with this label, you can simply add that label, without creating a new one.)
6. Now all the selected posts should have both labels. From the Label Actions... menu again, select Remove label > Label-1, and you've completed the switch.

Note: If you have a large number of posts with this label, they may not all appear on one page. You can show more posts at once using the Posts Per Page menu. If you still can't show them all at once, then simply repeat the steps above until you've changed the labels on all the posts you wanted to affect.
